Got the cowl cutouts all finished today. I love the scale look of the Falcon Civilian Prop!!

Getting setup to begin wing construction.

Just had to hang one of the wing halves on a nice afternoon. Still working on the first wing half. Hope to finish it this weekend.

Someday when I have 30 seconds to breath, don;t have a toddler and a job that pays bills, I will have one of these.

Sleepy: I am keeping a spreadsheet with all of the costs and will share it when I am finished. At this point in the build there is no doubt that I could have bought a similar sized ARF for significantly less money.

I agree wholeheartedly!!!

I honestly thought this build was beyond my ability but so far so good.

Should have the first wing half completed sometime this weekend and of course I have a question.

Is there any reason why I cannot just build the left wing half over the plans exactly as the right wing half and when completed simply flip the right wing tip all the way over to the left ? It would seem that the only thing which differentiates the right half from the left is where you place the strut braces and servo bays.

After trying unsuccessfully to get the ply wingtips straight, I decided to substitute 1/4" balsa instead.

Got both wings sheeted over the past several days. Next up is final sanding and filling and sanding and filling, etc. Getting pretty excited as things are progressing. Just placed what I hope the the last big order for supplies including servos, extensions and covering.
