That Giles has a straight trailing edge similar to most pattern aircraft , still like the MX2

I saw Jason Schulman fly the 52% Pitts today at the noon show...totally awesome! That plane is so big (12 foot WS and 92 lbs.) and running on a DA 170 it just flies slow and looks so scale in the air it's amazing! Of course it doesn't hurt to have Jason at the sticks! Among everything he did the 2000 foot slow roll down the runway about 3 feet of the deck was the show stopper for me!

That's a hugh Pitts very scale in flight characteristics . That sloooow roooll would have been nice to see , i bet lots of stick movements was used ..

Sorry I missed you. The red bipe is 52% scale and weighs in at 94 pounds, powered by a DA 170 on our HP 90 pipes ( really) She flies very well and those slow rolls are easy inputs on the sticks.

As for the MX2 it was derived from a Giles. Even with the different wings they fly basically identical.

I was only there on Thursday this year...I saw you on the flight line during the noon show but we missed crossing paths otherwise.
