Krill aircraft

Hey guys, I saw a 35% krill extra 330SC at our club today...awesome looking plane! Unfortunately the owner was doing the breaking in of the engine so didn't get to see him do any 3D. I realise it's expensive and a composite. But just how does it compare to the top non composite brands like EF, PAU and 3DHS? Is it worth the extra expense?

Once Bart & Sleepy change over to their new formatting for GSN, I'll start a build thread on my Krill 330SC. I do know that it is by far the most scale looking 330SC on the market....one of the primary reasons I bought mine. I've read they fly and 3D very well, so that's certainly a plus!

No, not really, although I've had mine for 2 years, I haven't worked on it much over the past 10 months or so. I am getting back on it and continuing to prep it for a custom paint job. I considered gluing the control horns in a flying it in the white last summer, but didn't because that would make sanding and prepping the flight surfaces a big pain in the but.

I wanted one of these but the cost and the "unknown" of composite has kept me from it.

I too have been looking seriously at the Krill. I do like the price of the PAU. But all in all, I've been told the Krill are incredible planes. I can't wait to see the build thread.

They arent as they don't use the stooopid top hinge ailerons.

I flew my friends 41% the other day and was very impressed with it.  It locked onto lines like nothing I ever saw before.  The overal quality of the plane is beyond imagination, it is simply perfect.  It 3Ds fine too.
