Nice! What are you going to power it with?
Boy that is a tough one. It's set up for the DA 200L. If I go with anything lighter I'm going to have a lot of work to do. I would have to move the servo's back to pull/pull and patch the holes and build a big engine spacer. A big twin would be plenty for this airframe but if I can find a way it might be getting the 4 banger.

Please do try to come.
You're definitely gonna like it and see the great talented young pilots we have here.

So
Long story short, it was darn hot, we need to do something about it.
the RX got to 169
The regs 157
The engine 284

I was thinking about NACA ducts.

I hate to cut my plane but some times it's for the good.
After the heat issues inside the fuse I decided to do two NACA ducts.
They're both facing the regs but I will direct some air from them to the receiver.
Also will install some more louvers like Steve mentioned before to clear the hot air out.

Here are the extra louvers and NACA ducts I did.
The temp inside the fuse dropped drastically but not enough for me.
The small ducts on the engine cowl does the job and they've made the engine run cooler.
I've touched the baffles when I've
landed and they were cold to touch.
The small ducts on the fuse just before the canopy are too small, so they don't blow enough air to the cans that are located just beneath them, the solution will be to direct more air down by hose or the use of louvers.
The hose that is directing air to the receiver is just for the test trial, and it works.
We will need to make something bigger maybe and much prettier.

I'm sure you hated to cut up the plane but it turned out nice. I fly in a lot of heat also. I'm going to have to look at this closely.
