@Terryscustom maybe I've missed it somewhere, but sometime I would like some information on the process of cutting foam core wings.

It's one of those things that everyone has their own process. I'm lucky enough to have a wife that can follow the numbers and run the other half of the wire over the templates. Parts like these wings any monkey can do, but for aerobatic wings where each end is different and things like belly pans and turtle decks they get harder. There are people that use sleds to pull the wire through at a constant speed, and I may go that route at some point.....however for me right now a permanent setup is just not going to happen.

I use laser or CNC cut templates so it is easy to get exactly what you want.

Nope, may get a couple hours in on it tomorrow, we'll see. Going flying! Have to take it while we can get it now, we're down to our last few weeks of promising flying weather around here.
BUT!!! I have a feeling that these big balloon tires will be SWEET on snow covered roads, and unimproved runway surfaces!

Took a couple hours yesterday to build the hatch, cut the windshield and work on the wings. I'm trying something new by lasering blocks for the wing bolts and the hole is perfectly sized to be tapped for 1/4-20 bolts. Blocks are pre hardened with thin CA and will be hardened again with foam safe thin after tapping.
I have some actual work to do today and then hopefully work on the wings some more.
