MMP Radio Gear

New to GSN!
Hi Guys,

Ever decided to get a new radio system and the thought of having to replace all your receivers and power box systems changed your mind??

Well there is good news! New from MMP ltd http://www.mmp-ltd.com/ is the "MC-32 Multi Signal Converter" This very small and light unit can convert your old radio system to any of the latest systems from any manufacture!! (e.g. Futaba PWM- JR X-bus) MMP Was started this year and owned and run by the ex president of JR Propo. Shoji Kuyama decided to retire from the position of president of JR Propo at the end of 2014 and start his new company MMP ltd. The MC-32 is the first product to be released but there is much more to come so keep an eye out for the new products as they are released!!!

Anyway, moving on to the MC-32...

I decided to put the MC-32 in my 450 sized heli, This allowed me to use DSM2 and convert DSM2 into X-Bus and keep using the TAGS mini Gyro without having to use the latest DMSS system.

The MC-32 comes well packaged with everything you need to plug it in and get started. The main box only weighs 6grams plus wiring and is 32mm long and 20mm wide. It is extremely simple to set up! In my case I needed to plug the PWM connector into the MC-32 and then into the DSM2 receiver. Once this is done using the included male-male output lead I plugged this into the X-Bus port on the gyro and the output port on the MC-32. Then powered up the gyro as normal, the MC-32 gets its power from the output lead so it will power up by itself. Using the included tool to push the 'Mode' button I selected Mode 6 (PWM JR - X-Bus ) this is very simple to do with the LED lights on the MC-32 unit. Once you have selected the mode you can use the system just like any other radio setup. just plug the battery in and go flying!!

If you have any questions regarding the MC-32 or MMP please feel free to contact me or go onto the website: http://www.mmp-ltd.com/

My single Futaba 14 channel receiver seems pretty simple. One channel per servo. Done
