I remember seeing those in San Diego Harley Davidson in 1976. I think those smaller bikes were made in Italy, not 100% sure on it but.

Yes, they were built in Italy, for that year it is one of 1400 assembled. That is what they told me at the hd museum

I remember there were many 2 stroke street bikes like that 750cc Kawasaki 3 cylinder back in the day...had a friend who had a Yamaha 350 twin 2 stroke and that bike ran like a scolded dog...Seems like it all changed when Kawasaki introduced their KZ 900 4 stroke double over head cam...I know the drag strips for a time were inundated with them...all unbaffled with 4 int 1 headers...they sounded bad ass...

And, that 750 Kawasaki was the fastest street bike for sometime. As a teen i had a Kawa 350cc Bighorn enduro. Stripped all extras off it and put on a expansion chamber, Tuned Pipe as they called now. Was not much for hill climbs, but kick ass as a dirt dragster. My best friend had a 350cc Sprint Harley Davidson. We was going at it all the time. That sprint looked like an oversized Honda 90cc.

My wife and i were out at some rummage sales this morning and i spotted this Bike between a V-rod and a 1955 T-bird replica. Not the best pics of this sweet bike but. A like new 1955 500cc Sunbeam, absolutely flawless. Never heard of them let alone see one. The guy also had a Plane Peddle car, minature Indian and some other cool mini-bikes i remember from the yesteryears

Never heard them either but the pictures you posted looks like that bike is in very good shape.... I guess now I'll have to Google get some kind of history on that bike.

I was trying to get him to fire it up, but he said he didn't want to put unnecessary run time on it. I thought BS at first, but i understood.

My 28 year old son wanted to get into motorcycles last year. I advised him to pick up a two year old KLR 650 and beat the snot out it for a couple years. Then if he is still riding it to then consider buying a nicer /newer bike. The KLR's are relatively cheap and hold their value quite well if they are in decent shape. He loves it, and still looks forward to buying a bigger nicer bike like mine. Unfortunately for him, my 1200 GSA is setup a bit to tall for him to comfortably reach the ground with his feet, so I can ride his bike, but he can't ride mine. LOL!
