What an epic day! I managed to get the day off work and head to the mountains with some good friends. It probably wasn't a wise choice to strap the Ultra Stick on the wheeler and bomb through the brush, but it was a blast! No goats or Ultra Sticks were harmed during the filming of this movie.

LOVE IT!! Stunning filmography, and epic flying terrain. The wide angle filming doesn't give the flying terrain justice at all. That looks steep! All I can say now is that you're going to love the wing loading on the Twimber!! Can't wait for you to get it up and flying

Thanks Nick! It was steep! I had a bit of wind coming up the slope and there was too much incline to land into the wind. The only options were to drop it in carrier style with a tailwind or hover land. Still getting my sea legs on the hover landing without munching my twin tail can’t wait for the Timber!

If you are going to fly the Timber up there you are going to need the extra leading edges on the plane to land on slopes like that.

If you are going to fly the Timber up there you are going to need the extra leading edges on the plane to land on slopes like that.

Here's a drone image that accurately shows the slope. It is the flattest and most rock free spot I could find!
