Scale Need Balso USA 1/3 scale Super Cub engine choice info

I have purchased the kit ( Balsa 1/3 scale SC) now and now I need some advice as to what are good options for an engine. I would like one in the upper recommended range size, not a glow plug engine, preferably multi cylinder and one that does not require any holes in the cowling. Cost is not really a problem. I have watched a video on youtube of an OS horizontally opposed 4 cylinder and it sounds real nice. Can a few of you guys that are familiar with this plane and suitable engines that meet my criteria indulge me with your recommendations? Thanks to all who respond. BTW if any of you are considering buying a kit from Balsa USA they are running a Holiday special of 10% off probably thru Christmas or maybe the end of the month but I was pleasantly surprised when she quoted me a price of nearly 100.00 off the current price.

If you are referring to the cowling being oversized the cowl on a real Super Cub does not fit up tight against the "boot cowl" there right below the windshield on each side. On a real one there is a gap of appx. 2" on each side, enough that you can slide your hand between the boot cowl and the engine cowl. From what I can see on the models they are the same way. If you are standing toward the rear of the plane you can see the gap but if you are in front of it the gap is not that apparent. The reason that gap is there is that the fuselage is so narrow on a Super Cub that they could not make the engine cowl narrow enough and still leave clearance for the engine. On a PA-12 Super Cruiser which is very similar to the SC the fuselage was widened out enough that they could make the engine cowl fit snug over the top of the boot cowl. The PA-12 was a 3 place airplane. 1 in the front and 2 in the rear. To the untrained eye the 2 planes look almost identicle. I used to have a 1947 model Super Cruiser ( a real one). I hope I haven't confused you.

Sorry, brain fart on my end as I was speaking as to a standard Cub, not quite sure how well the 85 would fit the Super cowl.

Yes, there is a big difference in the cowling of a J-3 Cub and a PA-18 Super Cub. I bought the Balsa Super Cub. If they would include "PA-18" with the Super Cub it would help people understand the difference Techincally a Piper Cub could be a J2, J3, J4 Cub coupe, J-5 Cub Cruiser, PA-11, PA12 Cub Super Cruiser, PA-14 Family Cruiser or PA-18 Super Cub. They did make a PA-17 & PA 17 "Vagabond" but they weren't considered Cubs I don't think although they looked similar.
