Evidently it didn't like Chrome so switched to MS Edge and things went smoother.

Managed to incorporate the 2.5 deg offset into the mount as well. TONS of aluminum shaving went into the shop vac!!!

Wow that looks fantastic. That is some good and beautiful machining, that must of taken quite some time to do. Can I ask a couple of questions first how did machine the posts round between the top and bottom plates , what milling machine are using.

Thanks....didn't keep track of time, but it took a few evenings. I have a Grizzly mill/drill. the initial plate was 1" thick so I did the mount in two pieces (fore and aft). Also have a rotary table for the mill so turning the posts was easy. I also installed two steel locating collars on opposite corners.

The engine mounting bolts sandwich everything together when it mounted. These two pics are part way thru the process.

Pretty dang nice Earle. But then wouldn't have expected anything less. I am however confused. The red baffling is superb. Would have matched a "cs" beautifully. Lol. Just kidding. The DA looks good too. Just wondering though... why it doesn't "mirror" like another certain twin I know of. Hee hee.... beautiful none the less. Good to have you back buddy.

Ok it all makes sense now great solution lot easier to make and just as good and probably lighter because you can get to all locations with a tool. Again nice work and that rotary table makes all the difference nice tool to have.

HarHar....I seem to recall that plane....from a past life! I thought about polished aluminum...for about 3 seconds LOL. Trying to keep weight down since I did put pipes in this thing too. and then Max.....and , and, and ....

The light ply was lightened even further before covering. Added about 20 grams over the 4-cyl baffling that was there.
