If your not using HV servos, is it necessary to use a separate BEC for receiver?
I'm using the Hitec 5245's all round

If you are using the Airboss 80 amp ESC then yes you need to use a separate BEC because the Airboss can not handle 6 servos. It was designed for use with 5 servos.
