The prize blimp guy......he was constantly dropping valuable coupons and even cash!!

One time I got caught up in one of the drop sites, the crowd showed no mercy for the poor guy on crutches! LOL

Phil Hinkle("frogman" over on foamieworld.com) from ProDRENALIN was there showing off their really cool video editing/fixing software. They had demonstrations setup showing raw footage compared to the same footage that was edited and fixed. prodrenalin.com

If you have a gopro or similar camera, you need this!

Children's Make-it-take-it airplanes sponsored by Hobbico was on hand to put a smile on every kids face. Gliders were flying everywhere!!

The talk of the town yesterday was EPG/KEG Team Pilot Ryan Mowery's scratch built top wing slow flyer. Kinda looked like a cross between a Cub and a Stinson. But any resemblance to a real plane was accidental. Ryan just freehand drew it up one day. The plan was to use it as a trainer to teach his kids to fly. But they really weren't too interested so Ryan figured what the heck, might be fun at E-fest so he brought it along.

AND IT WAS A HUGE HIT! It was the biggest and slowest flying plane there, only the prize blimp was bigger and slower. This thing would craw around at a slow walking pace. Everyone there wanted to fly it, and a lot of them did. Ryan could have sold 20 kits if he would have had them. This thing drew a crowd all day long.

There was always lots of action in the pits......charging batts, fixing planes, trading planes, planes for sale, getting ready to fly and begging your neighbor to fly his bad ass plane!

West Michigan Park Flyers had some cool stuff.....I couldn't resist when I saw that Mini Mako

They had a one stop shop going on!!....got the plane, servos, motor, esc, glue and extra receiver all in one stop.
