OK.. why is there a camping section?

So....Has anybody in here replaced the starter on a Onan Microquiet 4000 onboard generator? Mine quit this last weekend at a contest....or at least I think thats what it is....it appears that the bendix drive is causing it to not engage....or the gear is stripped. I think the biggest pain is going to be getting the generator out of its cubby hole so I can work on it....uggg...

Some friends of ours told my wife and I that a 36' Class A motorhome with 2 slides and a tempurpedic queen size bed with 2 A/C's is not camping. I strongly disagree.:smile-new: Actually my wife and I take a lot of trips over the summer to enjoy the outdoors.

Most of that stuff is not hard to work on however it really depends on the vast amount of covers it has on it and the space it was squeezed into. If your mechanically inclined and can remain calm during the work im sure your will be ok.

Wasn't too difficult getting it out. New Starter not too expensive either. We'll see how bad it is to get back in with no bolts or screws left over...
