Looking forward to a super Huckfest weekend coming up!!!Rest of control horns have been installed, I went with the K.I.S.S. choke rod to save weight with a servo. Here is a quick mock-up of the fuse. Getting down to some tidy up on the internals and finish the control horns tomorrow. Oh, and I'll install some wheels, just easier to not have it rolling around on the table.

Terry.....I see you followed my advice on cutting the cowl.:funny-laughing-smil Actually, after a few not so perfect, (not bad) but certainly not perfect attempts, I started doing as you outlined. And yes, it is actually very easy. Not to mention, far less frustrating and less disappointing when you have a nice looking cowl to place on that nice looking plane. Way to go...she is looking awesome....

I have been deciding on what I want to do to close off the front of the cowl a bit and still look good. So I decided to cut part of a ring to block off about 75% of the opening and focus the air at the head better. I keep wishing my DA70's were not tied up, that would be a great engine in this and setup would be a pc. of cake. But, Supa Tim seemed pretty excited about his experience with DLE61 so I'm thinking it will be good. (I know.......Supa Tim excited about something, who'da tunk?)
