PAU 30% Sukhoi SU-26 ARF 50-60cc

Saturday quite a few flights at Council Bluffs Labor Day mini-huck. I think we found a really good CG, just a tad nose heavy from neutral and it is flying really really well. I have not done any crankshafts but it does the coolest most scale looking lomcevak I've seen. Also KE spins and pop tops can be flown to look very scale. All that's missing is a radial engine and smoke!!

Jake Fahn made me look like a fool with the Sukhoi. He wanted to own it in a bad way. We kinda ran out of daylight to get a video of him flying it and Sunday was pretty stormy so we had to head home, but maybe later this Fall.

DLE61 is running super smooth, starts super easy and has more than adequate power. Tight rolling loops can be done at far less than full throttle. Have not had even one burble out of it, and transition is great. I did get one video this weekend but it was pretty much just flying around checking out the new CG adjustment with other people in the air, nothing special just flying around:

Looks awesome terry and I would have to agree. That joker needs smoke, in fact all planes need a smoke system. It's just plain cool to see the smoke a rolling on a long take off run and the. Just pull hard up elevator and head straight to the sky's.

I like that Sukhoi. Knife edge spins looked really good. Looks like a bigger plane in the air.

Yes it did, thanks! 24x8 falcon wood is nice for a mix of 3D and scale flying. I think 24x9 carbon would be best for all out 3D machine though. I'm going to keep the wood on this plane though.

That's funny, again I heard probably a dozen times this weekend how it looks better in person than in pics and vids and a couple mentioned they thought it was 100cc seeing it in the air.
