Awesome. Looking forward to your results. I'm running my 70 on a set of ES pipes. Bought it set up that way so I'll probably leave it but I like your idea. Any idea on weight vs regular Jtec in-cowls?

Just guessing........Whatever the weight of the header is would be the difference. I will post at the appropriate time any testing results once the proto type design performance is confirmed between us.(Me and Jtec).

And another good point to mention about this design is that it can work with single and twin cylinder engines using the appropriate headers.

Rest of the stickers are on. Landing gear mod done. 25 x 8w Falcon now has over 4.5" ground clearance.

Just got word from Kevin at Jtec and he is doing a final cleaning of the muffler. He tapped the can ends to 8-32 for mounting bolts for me. My plan is once all connected to the header I will make some support straps that will get secured to the can ends and motor box sides. Being that the bottom of the can will be somewhat close to the cowl ring I will also measure and cut the down stacks and re-install with an appropriate coupler with the cowl in place. Should be in my fat fingers some time this week and maybe some testing done this weekend.

I like 'em "BIG"!
Got the muffler late Friday and only got it mounted up over the weekend. Will see how the weather looks going on in the week but it seems like it may be next weekend for any testing.

Saaa-weeeet dude. Now I know why I came off the 70 for you. I had a feeling you would give it a good home and take really good care of it. Along with give it some really tasty goodies. If I didn't know better, I would say you're practicing for when you get a.......RED HEAD. :spongebob:
Nicely done Kelly...nicely done indeed.

Ah crap.... Forgot....text me your address so I can ship you out some PURPLE covering. LOL:lol2:

Sorry guy's I have been off the grid for a bit and will be for another few days. I did get the plane completely ready for testing the new muffler but please be patient for any results. Some pics as it sets now just waiting to get fired up!:).0131162355-00.jpg 0131162356-00.jpg 0131162357-00.jpg 0131162357-01.jpg 0131162357-02.jpg 0201160056-00.jpg 0201160057-00.jpg 0201160057-01.jpg 0201160059-00.jpg
