Damn I'm hungry
FWIW.... for doing things in an economy state of mind, you have done a real bang up job on this 330. Only goes to show that if a guy is clever and informed, and using as many resources as possible...he can accomplish most anything for meager few pennies. Good job Kelly.

Thanks Rob :). "Budget Bad Azz" because I CHEAP!.

Rob prefers the term "Magnum Size".

:spongebob:

At least "TROJAN MAN" Did not play out here. Noticed how some things got BIG in here???:pink_epic:

Well that looks good and complete ready to fly. Liked all the parts you used including the rudder tray, who made that looks well built and light and the bearing support ridged.
See you managed to get one of the new spectrum fail safe receivers so it is back on the market and everything fixed, have you tried the telemetry on it. What do think of it. Nice job on the plane.

Everything going in the plane and including the plane and engine parts was found on ebay. Only exceptions are the flight batteries, servos, SS hardware and engine stand off hardware.

I have not bound the receiver yet. Was using an Orange Rx DSMX to center and set throttle and rudder servos. I still have all the hinging to get done and install control surface servos as well as the flight batteries. When I assemble an ARF I always do the landing gear and mount the engine first but on this one actually started out installing the rudder tray before the engine. Any way I put everything in the fuse first and then do the tail sections and then the wings. Last thing I do is mount the batteries as to aid in CG.

CG? CG????? What's that? Oh yeah... Carl Goldberg, right?
I know, I know.... I should have checked the balance on the lil brother Yak-ster. aka, Baby Yak. But I figured with my setup, it should be pretty close. Not like I have maidened a grossly out of balance plane before.

As it turns out, it was pretty close. Maybe just a tick on the nose heavy side. I'd rather have a slightly nose heavy on maidens. But I figure the 1.5 ounce pilot I'm putting in will fix that. Still, she flies danged amazing as it is.
