I'm not saying it wont work, but I would be worried that the rear cylinders might not cool well. Is there any way to split it horizontally like this? It seems to work well.

I have them split and ducts going from the front cowl inlets across all four cylinders to ram the air down through the cylinders. I don't forsee a heating issue.

The split baffling was just not coming out the way I wanted it to. Too many things in the way to make it clean and allow for positive flow. So, I changed it up some. After looking at other options, I chose to design a shroud on top of the cylinders. I've seen this done before and from everything I've read or heard, it works very well.

I used the same material as what I used on my 260, the PAU and Sukhoi. 30 thousands thick delron (plastic) sheets from the lhs. It's very light, durable, easily manipulated and withstands heat very well. So far, no warpage or melting of any of the previous designs.

I started by putting in place the deflectors in the lower cowl half. They are permanently afixed. Then, adding the top shroud pieces that are permanently afixed to the fire wall.. I joined the two sections with small screws. They will have hardened backing blocks on them to keep them from vibrating loose or coming out. The 128 has virtually no vibration so I should be good to go.

I feel the air should dump nicely down each cylinder. And with the velocity tube in the lower front cowl half, hopefully I will get a good "draw" effect to keep that lil Ferrari cool.

Right side is done. Other than a little smoothing. Two in the morning told me to go to bed. Will do the left side tonight.

Got the left side done tonight. All in all, it came out pretty good.

I did an air flow test after everything was in place. By using a burning match and my heat gun, (no heat-just air) I was able to see if this thing is even going to flow air. Much to my surprise even the very low volume of air of my heat gun showed to be very promising.

Will try to get air flow test video posted.
