Pilot Figures, What do you Like?

Looking for a pilot figure for my Dalton 300. What do you like and where do you get them?

I assume your Dalton is 40%? There are lots of different choices on the market. It really comes down to what you want to spend. Red Aero makes some awesome pilots. A little pricy but well worth it. I have one in my big Yak.


Hangar 9 makes some nice ones. But a little less quality. Then again, You get what you pay for right?
This one is marketed as a 35%. But it is big enough for a 40% plane. I just bought one as a replacement to the one that is in my 260. He is a perfect fit for my 40% SD 260.

These are kinda cool. Made of foam and really lite. I had one in my 260 when I purchased it. I however didn't like it so I gave it to my son.

Aero-Works also sells pilot busts. Some are pretty nice. Life like pilots is always an option too.

Then i will have to find another source for a Pilot .
Red aero wasn't carrying them last year either , they were always out of stock i guess they gave on them back then

Wow! No kidding??!! Well that just bites. They are some right nice additions to an empty cockpit.

For me RedAero was/is the best. Every now and then you'll see on pop up on the classifieds, but don't hold your breath.

If you're creative, you can carve one outta foam....or start with a foam wig bust and shape down from there. That's how i made Capt Jack.....

I still think this is the baddest pilot I've ever seen. There really should be a "Show us your bad ass pilots" thread!!

Red Aero reply to me:

"Pilots are not in production but I still have the masters and a couple of rough molds. Trying to get one of the bigger guys to take over production and distribution. So, they be available in the future but not right now."
