OK, we got it all unboxed. Probably get it on it's feet today yet. I'm super super impressed. Been a while since I purchased a pilot plane. Really digging the pin hinged aileron / flaps and the fact that the flaps can work like ailerons!!! I can use the base radio setup for the Viper and have a combo!! Very cool doors and access hatches in the fuse. I already mounted the 85 to the firewall since I had to do a little work to get the vibration mount to work on there. So, that's all ready to install as well. We also got the @Planebender Pro-Flow that was a timely find in the swap pages. Should make the 85 sound super sweet!!! I had to order a header so that should be here when we get back from Nall.

Damn I'm hungry
Terry.....If I had a "Honey Pie" like yours I do not think I would get much done in the shop. Pretty Planes and a pretty woman.
Who digs RC too! Guess I did look for luv in all the wrong places:(.
It's sooo:too-cool: A husband and wife "TEAM". Love it!

While LAW was getting her Monday work done in preparation vacation, I got a few hours in on the decathlon. The part that seems to take the longest is the business end.
- Tailwheel and main gear installed
- Engine installed
- Engine box sides beefed up with a little lite ply and epoxy. They were lighter than the EF Edge but with a super short engine box. Still, couple ounces of insurance policy to spread that stress back a ways with the 85 up front.
- Choke and throttle functional
- Canister placement prepped (not looking forward to the header install......going to be tight!)
- Fuel system complete
- Ignition pre-mounted.

Well I had hoped to get a lot more done today but we had nasty weather all afternoon so I stayed home. Got in for a couple hours and got the tail section started. Just need to hook up the servos and set up the tail wires. After this it's pretty much aileron servos, header pipe and some radio setup. Still debating on ordering some big inflatable tires for it, I really liked those on the cub.
