Scale Pitts S1-T, S1-S, and a Challenger.

Just noticed in your pictures of the new exhaust, how come you decided to make it exit out the top?

Hope the weather straightens out so you can get some more flights, with video por favor!

On the other site a fella gave me an idea of sealing the end of the tube and drilling a whole on the side for injection. That is what I did, inserted it 1/4" and brazed it in position then wrapped it eight times. This should be about as good as it is going to get.

Should work good. Forgot you were running a four stroke somehow. Injecting the oil close to the exhaust port shouldn't be an issue like it can be on a 2 stroker. I have heard of drilling several very small holes to get more of a spray than a dribble. I have thought about just smashing the end flat to get it to spray more. Never actually played with a smoke system yet, though.

That thing is so far behind the back burner it isn't funny. I still have the S1-S I am doing for the other fella, but set it aside waiting for cooler less humid more paintable weather. In the mean time I am building the wife a new master bath and my self a new washroom. Plus recovering the exterior as well as a new roof going to go on. Hopefully the first week of Oct the temps will be more suitable for painting and I can finish that Pitts up. After all that I will build me a new shop, 18x22'ish. So any more model building for me will be a few months away.
Not to mention I am still putting the finishing touches on my Pitts. The 3 blade prop is done and waiting for a new TruTurn spinner to cap it off. Sometime this next week I hope to get it out and run it with the new prop, may need a new tune. It has been difficult with rain every day at any time.
But I will get there sooner or later.
