How are your 4 gussets attached?

Pocket screws, but they are too short to be of any benefit. This is the prototype stand. To make the gussets tall enough to do anything the plane would not rotate around, so I scrapped those.

I got held up with a work catastrophe today but I have four going to the UPS store for drop off first thing tomorrow AM.

I have two left in stock from the first 25 and next open time for cutting is in about three weeks so first come first serve if you, or someone you know wants one.

Thanks gain everyone that bought one. So far after expenses we made enough to upgrade Lori's camera to a Sony 4K for even better video coverage for multiple huckfests, Joe Nall, XFC (hopefully) and more. First vids she took are pretty amazing compared to her 2-3 year old HD camera

I have already thought of that and have an idea for an additional assembly, but it can't be part of the stand and keep the shipping weight and size reasonable. It's actually not that difficult to do, but it will have a few parts and will take some design work to make user friendly.

Myself I like to just pick up the plane with the canopy removed at or close to the CG point. Balancing machines can have you chasing your tail for hours for a number, but in truth the CG needs to be just basically set and fine tuned after first flight to tune for the desired flight characteristics.

Sounds like a cool add on... Sorta like adding white rose wheels, or j&j tail wheel to your new ARF.

Yup, I have two ready to ship and one person that has not paid after several reminders so his is going back on the market. We are gone tomorrow so it would ship out Tuesday. If you are coming to the Des Moines huckfest you can save about $25 in shipping.
