Well, all the ones that were local or pick up are out and I have 14 left ready to ship that are all spoken for. Invoices for those four are going out tonight.
I'm super happy with the quality of the wood and the finish on the one's I'm selling, and the nylon hardware was a nice upgrade from steel bolts. I strongly recommend the 2" casters installed (not included) which makes it super nice. I Velcro works nice to hold the tail as noted in the included sheet and on the video. A pool noodle or hose insulation is perfect for cushion on the tail, with the added cost of the wood it was not cost effective for me to include that. I may in the future but I'm looking at other options first. Obviously anything I add, also adds cost.
The new wood is also light enough to keep the package under 20 lbs. by a few ounces so that keeps the shipping weight down from mid $30 to an average of $29 I'm just going to use the average, of the 20 or so zip codes I checked they were all within $1 +/- so flat rate shipping will be easier.
Cost for this initial batch is going to be $90 each after all material and labor costs were added up. Again, after you get them if you have ideas feel free to share them. Keep in mind though that this was designed to work and serve a purpose but was also engineered to keep weight and size down (for shipping) as well as complexity for easy use.
