Postal Profiteers The Free Money Misers
Hey guys, have you ever wanted to make free money on the backs of peoples hard work? I for one despise people who take advantage of others. One of the ways people like to make free money is to charge more for shipping, than it actually costs to ship an item. Let me say, I do understand in some situations packing an item does have a cost associated with it, and I am not speaking to that situation. I am speaking of charing one price for shipping, and it costing much less than that actual cost.
A little back story about a company profits. If you were to have access to the profits and loss statements of large retail companies, you would find that 6 cents on a dollar is a huge profit margin. Many businesses that make 3-4 cents on the dollar are highly profitable businesses (it's all about the volume). Now I know small business does not fall into that same model, but if you are honest, hard working and offer products that people love, you will succeed without cheating folks from their hard earned money,
You see, Postal profiteers really piss me off, this is why I started this thread. Also so people who despise postal profiteers as much as I do can have a place to share who these people are so we can avoid them. I know to some, a few bucks seems petty, but to me it's the principal. If you are honest and hard working, you deserve my business. If you take cheap shots, and dupe people out of their money, you deserve to be outed, and be out of business.

They over charged almost 1/3 the total shipping costs. There was zero packing material used (they used a flat rate box, and priority tape with no bubble warp, peanuts or paper used). I called them to see what their position was for profiting on shipping. Paula original person and the person who I spoke to about the over payment for shipping said, "lots of companies do that", "it's just part of doing business". What... No it's not!
You see I gave them my business when looking for a radio locator for my rc planes. The PR-100 Receiver & PT-1B Transmitter Lost Model Locator had all of the features I wanted, so I bought it. The product is nice, but the cheap shot they took to squeeze a few extra bucks from me has pissed me off. If they had offered to refund the over payment, that is one thing, but they acted like this is just how good business is done. Boy are they so so wrong.
Please post your RC related purchases where the seller is clearly a postal profiteer. Even if a single person is saved from this greedy behavior, I feel the time and effort used to make and follow this thread us worth it.
To all of the companies that do it right, I commend you. To the postal profiteers, I say, SHAME ON YOU!
