Thanks again everybody. The transmitter does have flap trim also which is assigned to a variable rotary dial by default. The thing I don't like about the flap trim is it is both positive and negative trim, so I would have to be pretty careful when turning the dial, especially on a missed approach / go around. I'll see if I can do something with what @HRRC Flyer mentioned. Otherwise I will probably see how bad the pitch changes are with the programing I have now. I could also use a logic switch, and include a low throttle position say 30% to make sure I have my speed under control before they deploy. And again, thanks to all for the great ideas.
