pull pull or push pull

Hello,

i am flying 100cc size plane 3D Style. Other than balancing the plane, Is there an advantage in using a rudder servo in the tail as push pull as appose to in the fuse as a pull pull or vice versa? Thanks for the feedback.

I still do pull pull from the fuselage.

I think it really is how your bird balances. I prefer pull pull in that it is a more scale application to the rudder but push pull is pretty standard for the RC hobby. Good Luck!

I agree with combat chicken. Just use what you like the best. Have C of G in mind.

Pull pull is a little more involved to set up and get just right, cables stretch and getting them adjusted right, setting up the control horn geometry and such. Some people like the push pull because they think the servo is a little stronger in that setup and maybe a little tighter as far as linkage is concerned. I haven't had any problem with either setup or good enough to notice a difference.

Prefer push pull as it seems stronger and at least like less parts that could fail... Usually wind up with batts in front of the wing tube as a result.

I like push pull but use both and both seem to work fine. Tad bit more upkeep on the pull pull I believe

Push Pull unless CG is an issue.
Can't beat a direct solid link that doesn't change with the seasons.

When the CG allows I prefer push pull....
Rudder feel for me is better
More simplistic install.
Never have to worry about wire stretch or break
I also think that there is a bit more responsiveness with push pull
