Have not gotten around here much lately but I did not realize the big belly busted. Your skills will have that "C section" done in no time with a new beautiful "Baby" to show .

I was slapping purple like a ho so it submitted on its back. Sorry....Did not get a good porn vid of it but purple do like selfies.

I got quite a bit accomplished on the Yak today. I actually got the entire left side of the fuse back to F37A completely disassembled and now waiting on replacement wood from Pilot RC. I have to retract my previous statement about this being a lot of work. Actually, by using my heat gun to soften the glue joints, this thing is coming apart quite nicely and isn't going to be too difficult at all to repair. If I keep making progress like I did today, maybe I can have the Behemoth Yakster flying before the end of the season.

And now what she looks like without the left side outer fuse side and the motor box sides/landing gear plate inner structure in place. I really don't think this is going too badly. Actually quite a bit easier than I thought it would be.

I am planning on leaving the right side of the fuse as much in tact as I can for now. I want to have something supporting all the rest of the structure so that every thing stays straight and true. My plan is to replace all the left side components when they arrive. Then, I will repeat the procedure for the right side. Once the right side is completed, I can then put in the new can tunnel roof/tank floor and double check the repaired structure for trueness.

I sure hope so. I just al-most...called it quits on rebuilding it. You see, I need to get this piece out to replace it. But in order to get this piece out, I first need to take out that piece. But before I can take out that piece, I have to remove those pieces. But to get those pieces out out, I need to take out this piece and that piece. But to get those pieces out, I have to remove.... and...and...and...ugh!!!

But thankfully, I took a deep breath and got after it. Now it's not so bad. LOL. I can't wait for the wood to get here. I am actually having fun doing this. Reminds me of the days I used to build all my planes. Though I bought my first "ARF" in '94, (Carl Goldberg Sukhoi) I spent many hours building and covering.

Ya, I know what you mean. The hip bone connected to the....... It is nice when you get to see it all come together and fly after all the work tho. Pilots free wood is one of the best thought out plans by any company. Puts them up a few notches in my books.

Guaranteed if the wood had not been free, this big ole beast would have been stripped. Paying the nearly 200 for shipping the wood and the covering replacement cost was bad enough. Including the loss of a brand new 34x12 Falcon, the reeds for the 210, the aluminum carb base, wheel spats, covering, wood shipping and.... still have to replace one muffler...this is going to still come out to over a 500 dollar repair.
