Lol! I have all day to work on this beast! Should get pretty far. Maybe ready for Sunday if the back can stand it!

It's been so damn hot here that flying has been a no go. 100 degrees here in Oregon which is nuts for us!

Vaseline on the hinges.

Note: rough up hinges with sandpaper or a dremel before applying epoxy! It helps to adhere and creates a better bond!




Both ailerons drying with tape holding in place!

Now to the elevators!

Dle-55ra for it! Will have to download template if it's not in the box... Didn't check yet but the firewall is scored for the standard dle-55. :-(. No biggie







I will be upgrading the wheels to some of Azhar's @Aztechaeromodels bling bling!

Drilled the cowl mounting holes. I used a qtip that I cut and got a sharpie to get the end all nice and black. Put the cowl on and whalla, I have my drill location! Worked like a charm!

So I have an issue and I'm not quite sure how I'm gonna deal with it yet. The stand offs are very close to the muffler which gets in the way of the bottom firewall. I could trim the firewall or get some custom stand offs to clear. I will upload a pic in a sec to show you guys what I mean.

I still need to measure where distance to the opening of the cowl using this dle 55ra so I may need to get some custom stand offs anyway or cut out some wood for stand offs.
