RIP PAU Pitts Challenger

It was a sad day today. Although I lost my PAU Pitts Challenger last fall due to an electronic failure, it had sat in the corner of my workshop for the past 6 months with me not wanting to touch it. But today I finally pulled it from the corner and removed servos, motor and hardware and gave it a salute as the garbage man emptied it into his truck.

RIP Pitts Challenger "Oracle"...I will have one again Herve!

DA 50 and destroyed ignition needs to be sent to DA...but all servos are good, and I kept the hardware and pilot...

Yeah I did Sleepy...that was the maiden...but ended up having a stuck ring in the DA50 as it had sat for a few years...so after overnighting a ring from DA to the FOB at the airport we got it up and flying...looked great...only had about 8 or 10 more flights before it went in with an electronic failure. I do really want to get another one someday...I would much rather have a 100cc or 150cc but...the PAU is very scale in appearance and looks great with Sean Tuckers "Oracle" scheme.

Sleepy...I do have a new PAU for 2015 though! Hope to maiden it very soon if our weather ever gets better!

the cowl's cut, in fact I finally finished assembling it last night so it's coming to Joe Nall with me. We'll see if it survives the week!

Cool, if I design one it would be 100cc minimum. Just always liked those. I want to get one, strip it down and do a Prometheus scheme is what I was thinking.
