That is cool bro! Sorry to hear about the dumb thumb event.My Fiesler Storch....before I dumb thumbed it.
It was Texas Rc arf. It was only a 98 inch wingspan and I had it overpowered with a power 160 on 10 cell. It was also heavy at 17 lbs. Apparently came in slower than I should have because it was 200 yards out on a scale landing approach and it tip stalled. Thats the one advantage to gas, you can hear the engine rpms and can kind of judge your airspeed on a straight on approach. I will build another storch but it wont be an Austars. It will be a Polo Severin kit. A retired friend of mine wanted the crashed one and rebuilt it and has a nitro setup in it but has not flown it.That is cool bro! Easy Tiger models actually offers a larger version that would be better.Thanks for the info @witchfingers
