P-38 would be super cool!!

I got my G-62 fired up today, it was stupid sloppy and would not tune up so I dismantled the carb and cleaned everything up nice n purdy. Plug looked good too, fired it up, tuned it up and it runs like a watch. I think the redline is going some house cleaning already from dino oil because there is black crap belching out after I got it tuned up! Mount the RX and IBEC and we're set.

So does the garbage bag go inside the fuse or in my transmitter case??

In the fuse...that way when you walk out to pick up the pieces you will have it handy....in a moment of despair you might set your transmitter down before walking out to pick up the rubble!

Just remember, it doesn't do pop tops and you'll be fine

I don't know, I've seen warbirds at my field do some pretty good tumbles on landing.

I've already been warned Any advise is good advise though! Unless there is mechanical failure I don't plane on doing much with it other than circles this weekend. I got a new Falcon 22x10 wood prop for it today, probably maiden with the Vess 22A I have on it now. The 22x10 Zinger "paint-stir" Pro that was on it just does not feel like it is pulling that thing at all on the ground!! Noticeable difference with the other props.

That must be a nationwide phenomenon. Most of our warbird guys refuse to join this century and go to 2.4.

Not around here. We have a pretty large warbird group and I do not recall seeing any of them on anything other than 2.4.
