After months of drama related to the sale of our house and the purchase of a new house it is just freakin' awesome to be back at my desk in the new house and logged in to GiantScaleNews.com!!!

New shop area in the basement is swept out and the bench is in place. Just have to unpack all of my tools and get back to work building stuff. First up is a recover of the Cap and then a scale plans-built project but not sure which airplane just yet, still have some research to do.

I missed you guys and gals!

Good to have you back. I haven't seen you post in awhile so I figure you were busy getting moved.

not only were we busy with our move but the couple we bought the house from didn't get moved out in time for the closing so I spent two full days carrying out their stuff while the movers were carrying our stuff in! the previous owners did a lot of nice work to the house though so it's all good but i'm really beat after weeks of moving and house drama.

send some pics of the new shop bartman...

i just went to my temporary storage unit to pick up electrical supplies and tools so I can put outlets in place for new LED fixtures. the shop is going to be smaller than what I had at the old house but I've got a shed now so a lot of stuff that was stored inside will be in the shed making the smaller shop space work out ok. sometime next week I'll have it all set to go and an airframe on the bench.

LED shop lights and outlets built into my old bench, those are my two upgrades for this time around. :)

Congrats on your move! I feel your pain.....moving sucks....even more so when you're in your 60's :lol2:.

We are heading into our 3rd month in our new home and I still haven't gotten my shop squared away...but it's slowly coming along.
