It's getting close. I just need to mount batteries, install RX, and fuel tank. I think the batts are going to have to go as far forward as they can. I also need to figure out where the CG is supposed to be. I can guess but I need to look and see where other people have had success

The maiden flight took place today on the yak. Trim was perfect and she flew straight as an arrow. Went up straight and even came down with just a slight tuck to the wheels. Just ever so slightly nose heavy.

This one took just over a year to go from crashed mess to rebuilt flying aircraft. I'm pretty excited to have this yak flying!

If JAG ever gets back in our country I'll have him get some video.

Thanks the wind was blowing it back on me. My least favorite direction and I am honestly not that comfortable with it yet.
