Me too...I flew with my Go.Pro several flights with the Bluetooth and WiFi on then all these crashes started getting reported....I want one bad but you guys need to be the guinea pig for me...lol

So it's short-range low-rate wireless data transfer using 2.4 GHz with no possibility of interference with our 2.4 tx to rx link?

I am not sure I would call it short range. It has a range of about 200o feet. My personal (non expert) guess is the interference with our radios probably depends on how much of the 2.4 band it is using.

Would it then be wise since our radio systems look for the cleanest unused channel, to power up the Soloshot first, then our radios? It would seem to me, that it would see that "used" 2.4 band and skip over it. However in the reverse order, the Soloshot could inadvertently take command of our frequency if the radio is powered up first, then the Soloshot and would possibly be a factor of interference due to not having frequency hopping capabilities? Ugh.... Not sure now about this now.

I believe the bluetooth gopro covers a much wider band than the soloshots 2.4ghz does. It likely operates in much the same manner that our own 2.4 systems operate with. Sofar nobody using the SS has documented any interference issues with their RC equipment.

HEY!..GET OUTTA MY TREE!
Well at least the camera won't have any problem tracking her.....as for your plane, it'll need a big-assed zoom to see it ;)

Yea that is what I would do if you decide to place ANY transmitter on your plane. The main issue IMO is the simple fact that our transmitters are really not that powerful, therefore the received signal at the plane is VERY low. When you have a transmitter in the same band on the plane it is difficult for the RX to find the linked signal through all of the noise on board. If it was me, I would not put any transmitter on board that ran in the same band that was not automatically de-conflicted like spectrum's telemetry.
