Conversation at our field a few years ago. Buddy had just installed cans on his 150CC / DA150 AW Yak. Him (We'll call him Wild Bill) and a couple of other guys were starting it up:
*(Wild Bill is revving the engine)
Me: "Hey Bill, that doesn't sound right."
Wild Bill: "It's the cans, they make it sound like that."
Me: "I dunno Bill, it sounds like a turbine or something."
Wild Bill: "It's the cans. Just relax."
Me: "Ok. Cool. Sounds wicked."
It took all of the runway plus some for the Yak to break ground. One of his buddies didn't think he would make it and told him he was sorry about the plane. It was doing the "I'm about to stall" wiggle all the way around, but he managed to line up and land it.
That was the first time I saw a DA150 fly a plane around with a Mejzik 32X10 mounted backwards.

You are right. I just realized that. No wonder it wasn't starting. Winner here for sure.
