Model Airplane News, RC Sport Fliyer, Fy RC, and Flying Models are the main U.S. based ones. There are some very good British ones, but also pretty expensive. There are of course also RC helicopter and RC car magazines, but as I do not subscribe to them, I don't know the names of them. If thickness counts...RC Sport Flyer and FLY RC are the two thickest, so more content. Flying Models is a very old magazine that covers pretty much all forms of flying models...RC, Free flight, control line, sailplanes, etc..etc..

Yes....though not every issue....with the exception of Flying Models, which doesn't, but still has more info for young kids (I.E. rubber power planes)...

Yipeee..... 8FG Super coming on Friday or Saturday. So I'll be able to play with it over the weekend. Can't wait to check it out. It'll be my first Futaba and first over 6 channel radio. Should be lots of fun. Glad that Fred is awesome and gave me a great price on it as well. :D

Not really. Even the AMA mag is silent on 3D.
Probably just a marketing reason.
Think about it

Circle flyers read magazines and look forward to information being published that is 8 months old.

Most 3D guys are younger and know about cutting edge equipment, airframes, maneuvers before they are even released.

3D is covered well on forums in my opinion. Only time we read mags are when they cover the big events.

I didnt think about that. So it probably wouldnt really matter which ones they put in the library where Renea works, or at least it wouldnt matter to me LOL.

I would be lost without the forums, thats a fact.

I too would be lost without forums but let be play devils advocate here. This is a 3DRC forum on that it is narrowly focused on 3D flying and that is why we are here. Libraries however are about research and learning diversity. Providing information encompassing the complete subject. Have you ever clicked on the Forums tab on RC Groups or RC Universe? Look at how many active groups of interests there are within this hobby. I personally think it is very useful to provide as much information as we can.
