I saw an 82" great planes ugly stick with a 30cc motor fly through one of the bays of an awning. The poles are 16 ft apart. It was pretty epic...

Last night my buddy and I did some foamy hucking in the illumination of a small 200 watt work light. Our flying area was maybe 30' wide and 50 ft deep. Fun times :D

Just got back, pretty great day

Flew my 40" addiction to test the replaced elevator hinges, all it well, just a bit windy for the light wing loading.

Split my time between a 50" YAK and a 40" f3a plane. About 50/50 for precision versus 3d

Had two VERY interested boys, guessing 6 and 8, with their Dad shadow me for about 45 minutes. They were crushed when I ran out of batteries, asked if I could come back tommorrow

Still smiling

It was windy and rainy this weekend ... boooo! I went out with some soaring guys this morning though ... tossed the TwistedHobbys Zorro wing around. Managed a 30+ minute flight on a 450mah battery and no prop ... I had no idea soaring could be so much fun.

Flew both days. Yesterday was perfect, a little crosswind but not bad at all. Today had the threat of rain all day and was blowing pretty good. About 12:30 the thunderstorms ran us off. I did a video on the drive home. Had the wipers on high and they weren't keeping up with the rain. I still need to download it from the camera.

Next Sunday is our monthly funfly. I am hoping to finish up my Aero-works 50cc Edge 540 in time. I doubt I will have the Decathlon repaired in time. So it might just be my Yak and warbird for the funfly.

video is my drive home. (if it works)

Anyone who needs noise reduction I highly recommend the es composites carbon fiber tuned pipes. Theyre quiet weigh in at 4oz and look cool. And they aren't much more expensive the regular tuned pipes but weigh a fraction of the weight

So who has been flying this weekend? We need some flight reports!

On my second flight of the day my 74" Edge was not responding well so I landed. The left aileron servo arm had popped off. So now I know the plane can be flown and landed with only one aileron!

This is my flying buddy's 40 year old Giant Stik with a DLE 85 on the nose. It's not a 3D monster, but still impressive to watch.
