So where's the best place to get the --> "nano cpx brushless upgrade motor"?
How does that affect the brick which I suppose has a brushed speed controller?

Sorry, I like the little ones, and have two of them, but don't know much about them.

You can get it through horizon , it has an external Esc that goes in the middle of the batt and the brick, it's a plug and play set up so you don't have to solder anything! If I remember correctly it was $50

I really love my Blade Nano CPx. Tough little bird that like the foamies encourages silly 3D you would never even consider on a bigger craft. I have read rmixed reports on it though and for now am sticking with the stock motor. Maybe when that model is replaced.
