[H=1]Description of the maneuver[/H]
A Spin in which the airplane rotates over it's center of gravity without descending.

Also Here at the beginning and 2:10
[H=2]Level of difficulty[/H]
Hard
[H=1]Performing the Maneuver[/H]
From inverted push to a 45 degree up-line with full power, then apply full down elevator with opposite ailerons and rudder. With each plane entering a crankshaft requires slightly different amounts of aileron and rudder, so start with full deflection and adjust as necessary.
[H=2]Steering[/H]
unnecessary
[H=2]Exiting[/H]
You can reduce power to fall out of the maneuver, or let go of the elevator and rudder to roll out of it. Another option is to use elevator only to push/pull out of the maneuver when the spin is complete. Going into a riffle roller or knife-edge spin after exiting give it a nice flair.
[H=1]Common mistakes[/H]
Not using enough power, wrong rudder or ailerons, trying to enter from a vertical heading.
[H=1]Tips[/H]
Make sure you have plenty of altitude when you try it for the first time.
Have a lot of airspeed.
