It was only 28 when I made that flight. Needless to say it wasn’t that long. So cold I almost dropped the transmitter landing.

Got a twisted hobbies velocity from a buddy a while back RTF well almost as it has stripped aileron servos. Well I got it ready last night and put a couple packs through it today. What fun that plane is.

Two flights in today. It was around 20 degrees. I don’t know how people fly when it’s that cold without a transmitter mitten! 3 minutes of flying at a time was plenty for me.

This is far as I got this morning. Went inside and forgot about em. To cold for old bones . When I tried this evening to go ahead and retrieve them the damn release switch on the door is froze stuck. Went back inside and forgot about it......

Well had good intentions this morning got everything ready loaded the minivan. Very cold but absolutely no wind an d I thought it would be ok to try. Well I could not get the garage door to open after about half an hour I was frozen and my hands were in real pain form the cold. Went inside and that was it. By the way

Hopefully the forecast holds. 61 and light and variable winds tomorrow. First change to get the giants out for 2018.
