And let's not forget the vendors as they had to have their displays shipped a week or more ago, and now have to pay to have them returned without any sales. Bummer for sure.

Very disheartening no doubt. I talked with Gerhard today. He mentioned in all the years he attended the Nall representing 3W, He remembers never a time the weather has been this vicious and sever. Oh sure, a thunderstorm is expected when the event comes around. But not like this. My heart goes out to all those that made the effort to broaden the possibilities of our hobby as well as the obvious and apparently amazing Triple Tree and Joe Nall staff. Their decision to cancel the show could not have been easy .Yet for the safety and well being of everyone planning to attend, no question it was the right decision .

Well boys I was there everything was great and very hot and humid. We did not even fly the first day just getting use to the heat and just getting everything all set up. We did get some flying in on the second day and the we were told that we had to be out of there by noon tomorrow, this was told to us at about 3 o’clock in the afternoon. So we thought It is going to be zoo tomorrow’s morning with hundreds of motor homes trying to get out and all the venders getting out. So we were packed and ready to to leave at 8.30 that evening. So 15 hours later we were home again. Not great a lot of expenses, a lot of driving and preparing and a couple days later you are sitting at home again.

Don’t know about safety, but was there a couple of years back when it rained there for a day and soil in that area is like red grease when it gets wet and it goes soft you just sink into it with your wheels. If they did not send us all home before that kind of weather is showing up we would all be stuck there for a while the property would be destroyed by the time we all got out.

Well went for a couple flights today overcast and about a 10mph wind, so the flying was good and put 4 flights on the 84 inch Sundowner. Well I think I have changed not enjoying the plane anymore. Will strip it in the next couple of weeks and take to the LHS to sell. The plane is in good shape but not for me.

Flew my 115" Laser 230Z this weekend, what a fantastic flying airplane! Aileron is ultra crisp and super responsive, tail has a lot of authority too, and the ZDZ180 is a match made in heave for this airplane. Hitec HSB-9381TH servos offer GOBS of torque and ultra efficient power output- 1 flight consumes a whopping 333mah, including ignition!!

Ok boys flew the 50cc profile for the first time today. Well I can tell you a 12 pound plane on a 50cc DA is nuts, it will prop hang at three clicks of idle and kind of start to go up at four clicks. It is Interesting to fly a plane at WQL of 7.4 man does it fly light. Yes I love the plane and it was big success do it again anytime. I may do it for my DA150. The only thing a will do is bring the wing loading up to 8. And best of all it has no coupling to speak off
