Even come with Lipo power heat. Been thinking of getting one. Now especially since I have a really dependable glow plane to fly from the snow. We have these "Polar Bear" fun flys on New Years day. I'm a thinkin' I just might do it this year. Usually consists of a huge propane heater, lots of home made chilly, gallons of steaming hot coffee and hot choc-o-latte. Oh and lots of b.s'ing on who flew the best freezing their "nads" off. Lol. I want to see you in a pair of shorts and your mukluks Snoops. Then I'll argue with anyone that you gotz the championship on bravery and tenacity. Brrr....
If I was still in my twenties you may have a chance but now just in my sixties not going to happen. All I can say is the older I get the more I feel the cold. Florida keeps looking better every year.

Did a lot f winters flying years ago, but you know I have had some of the best flying days in the winter, does not happen often but in January on a no wind day and bright blue skies and a good layer of snow is just absolutely great flying. When the sun is shining and no wind it is actually warm. With good layer of snow you can land everywhere. It is almost like float flying. A person joined our club this year and has invited us to do some winter flying at his place. He has a barn that is heated and has plenty of space for us. Out the back door of the barn is his property and it is more than enough area to do some flying. Hope to try it out this winter.
