That’s awesome brother. How did you transport them?
I am quite glad you asked!! Back in 2012 I made a box to ship 72 linear inches max for USPS… well it turns out the airline likes 62 linear inches (41x 15x 6) This box was altered to meet those specs so it’s not considered oversized. It’s ply with ripped lumber to save weight and glued together all but the top which is screwed on. Simple rope handle and packaged with love. It’s light and fit my Flitz2 (split wing), Alula, Ahi, and DammitS. Unfortunately I couldn’t bring my ridge Runt with the one piece wing.

Hello Gentlemen, Well, my 2022 flying season opener was an awesome one. My awesome son suggested we take the four cylinder beasts out and get the year started right. Well, ok....I am down. The weather was absolutely amazing for February. We had nearly 50 degrees, 0-3 mph winds, Bright blue skies with warm sunshine. Oh my gosh...it was simply divine. My sons DLE 222 powered PAU Edge flew amazing. And of course the "Mighty Dub" 212 powered Pilot Yak 54 was just spectacular.... I could not have asked or received a more perfect day for flying. Friends at the field, Awesome planes to fly.... and yes...the field Mascot made his appearance too. Pop-Top will simply not let Dad out of his sight.

Have a great flying year fellas.

If it was as flat here I could see you from several states away. Dang that runway goes on for miles.

Stopped by my field yesterday… yup that’d be a snow mountain. The cones to the left are the “runway markers”. You cannot really see the scale of this hill, but it’s massive
