Another weekend in the bag. Rain coming this way tomorrow, followed by what us 'zonies describe as "cold weather". I'm sure you northern folk would be wandering around in beach attire if I told you what our daily high was going to be the next week :gnashing:View attachment 124662

I heard that! Warmed up to the 40's for a bit here, dropped to the teens and now hanging around 20F and blowing.... eek!

Nice shots! Glad your getting the stick time in!

Some cool hotness has been announced by DA. They are testing a new 240CC version 4 cylinder motor. Let me tell you, this thing has BIG BLOCK power behind it...

The local DA guy is testing it in his 120" Extra. It's a ripper and only 4 flights old so far. The black and red is custom colored, if they turn these into production units then it will be the standard raw aluminum colors.

It would be interesting to know the weight of the engine.
I can just imagine trying to fit 4-60cc size canisters into a fuselage of a plane.

Nearly identical to the DA200L. Currently it is being tested on mufflers and it sounds incredible.

It would be nice if they made DA 140 from the Da35. Would be perfect for a 120 size plane and the sound and smoothness would also be great. I know some people would complain about the extra weight but I believe most of us would love to own a smaller DA140 4 cylinder.
