Maidened the Precision Aerobatics Extra MX today. All went well except I hit a chug hole on the first landing and knocked off a wheel pant. It was an easy fix. Plane flys great and is small enough to fly at the local park.

Dang it all David. I really am sorry. I know you had your heart set on it. Just really bites ya know? Yes, I do agree and understand your feelings. First come, first served. If first bails or falls through...number two is up to bat. And so on.Well, my weekend started out on the wrong foot. I had been looking at buying a plane in NC for a GREAT price and I had been in contact with the seller quite a few times. The seller told me he would hold the plane to let me drive down and look at it and that he was in no real hurry to sell the plane. When I texted him on Saturday morning to find out when he was going to be home his response was "I'm sorry, but I've decided to sell the plane to someone else".
Now, I fully realize that a person has the right to sell something to anyone they want to, but doing it like this is a little unethical (I'm trying to be polite). Needless to say, this ruined my weekend. . . . .
BTW In case you're wondering Rob, this is the same deal I was telling you about. I should have known it was too good to be true.
What size is baby, we all know it will be pilot 260 but the size?Dang it all David. I really am sorry. I know you had your heart set on it. Just really bites ya know? In the flip side of the coin I might be able to put a smile on your face. It goes something like this. I had planned to decommision Baby this winter. That is still the plan. I had thought of hanging on to her just cuz she has so much sentimental value to me. I realize now, I just don't have the room. Therefore, I will probably offer her to a really..."REALLY" loving home. No weird stuff when no one is looking.
David, I know how much you have commented and how much you appreciate this 260. I'm not going to ask much for her. I know what it would cost for her transportation. I just want her to have a good home. If you or anyone else is interested, let me know.
You won't be sorry. Precision Aerobatics makes amazing planes. And just the right size to toss in the car for a quick trip to the park.I just love that. I gotta get one.
Indeed... :-(The bad thing is that we all know how he feels.
