Maiden went extremely well on the AJ Laser 230z! What a phenomenal flying airplane, can't wait to get more stick time on it. Today was completely blown out with 20mph wind.

Hi @Xpress just want to ask you a question the size you are flying I am not sure of the size, but I have an older DA 150 sitting around. I am very interested in AJ 150size Lazer. Have you by any chance seen one flying have you flow one if you have what is your impression. Thanks

The 105 is the only AJ airplane I have flown, but the 115 Laser is on my list next. The DA150 is the perfect match for the 115 Laser. Terry Wiles is a close friend of mine and he absolutely loves it, and is who convinced me to buy the 105 Laser.

Great looking plane the maiden went well looks like you like the plane. I have one still in the box the 88 inch version. I should get it built from your report.

Sounds like you might have the AJ Slick from 3DHS? :oblong: There is a cult following behind that airplane so I think you will love it :yesss:

I have the ARS 300 from AJ the 50cc to 60cc plane. Looks good and the finish and build quality is second to none up to now and looking forward to building and flying it. Just have to buy a lot of stuff for it first. Thanks for the reply. You need to get 150 size soon so that you can let all of us know how much you like it

Today I demonstrate the old RC proverb "down is up and up is expensive".

I think I have the perfect fix for that. Take a little adhesive backed plastic strips and apply them in a "wrapping" motion from left to right. That would be "clockwise". You must do it clockwise, left to right. Right to left, counterclockwise will not work. It's the opposite rotation of the prop that keeps the straps in place. If the prop goes the same direction, it will come off. Now once you have the front of the fuse wrapped.... dip the nose of the plane in a vat of 5 minute epoxy. (Be sure to remove your prop first) Flying epoxy from a spinning prop is very dangerous. Upon your epoxy curing, replace prop, charge batteries and fly. Did I mention you "MAY" have to add "ALOT" of tail weight to offset the nose repair? hearty-laugh.gif
Just funnin' ya. Sorry for the "oopsie". I know the feeling. Back when I attempted to have someone teach me to fly so many years ago.... I totaled a little 25 sized glow (shudder) plane. When asked, "what are you doing".... I said I was pushing up and it would not go up. That is when two major decisions were made in my flying career. One: I quickly learned which way is up and vicy versy.

And two: That is when I taught "myself" how to fly. LOL
