Nothing happened because I have not flown it yet
. Weather really warmed up (low 70's- 80% humidity- Fog and rain) but it does not look like another test flight for the next few days

I'm not sure I agree with this. Once I started way up high...and transitioned into a flat spin with my Dave Brown DLE55 powered 330 LT. It was as flat as a pancake when I entered the inverted flat spin. Soooo....mesmerizimg...so hypnotic...
Anyway, I was only a scant few inches from the ground, maybe millimeters, when mother earth reached up and put her cold hand and death grip on her. Dead...gone...no longer among us. So see? Even millimeters off the ground can't save you!

So, let's have another little contest huh? This time, just for fun. This is how it works...all you that's in on this, put your big girl panties on and charge up a plane. Big, small, 'lectric, foamy...heck even glow (shudder) will be allowed. Just no really "big 'lectric started nitro powered foamies"!
Contact your field buds and brave the winter weather. Go out, put in a flight. One single flight qualifies you. Even if its a take off and a landing, as long as you flew. Then rush to "START" The I'm going out flying 2018" thread. A photo would be nice, but sometimes a camera man is not available. Post a little blurb. "Had coffee huddled up with the buds, cozied up to the big propane heater" type of blurb. First one to post their New Years Day shenanigans, wins. What do you win you may ask? The Prestigious Honor of starting our New 2018 thread.
Sooo....who is in? Oh heck, I'm in. I'll be out flying fo sho. Unless the wind is blowing mach 9, there is an earthquake that opens up and swallows me whole, 29 feet of snow falls over the entire state of Idaho, a Zombie Apocalypse,... well, ya'll get my drift. (snow drift that is)

Rob, does it count if I just set a Heli on the garage floor, hit the door opener, takeoff, hover outside for a second then come back in a land. That way I wont even have to put a coat on.

I suppose certain provisions and accommodations can be made for those that are afraid of less than accommodating conditions. LOL
