Heard on the news that both Chicago airports are close due to extreme cold ..fasten some cardboard in fornt of the radiator to get the temps up . Thats the only ways to help get heat into the engine . Hope your running synthetic oil !!

Yes it is synthetic oil but getting the van ready to go I thought of some cardboard but by that time I was already frozen cold and said next I was to cold, but I should of done it.

Well we were hoping the TFR that is encompassing our club would expire at the end of January but we awoke yesterday morning to a month long renewal

Some club members are starting to worry that they will continually renew the TFR because of the border activity as of late, which potentially means our club is shut down indefinitely...

The issuer is the DHS which means it would be a very steep uphill battle for us. We are trying to find out if anything can be done.

No fun. Our big club lost its lease and folded. Fortunately another club formed but no fun.

75 - 80 degrees this week and swamped with work.

We have been covered in a layer of ice about 1/2 thick. It will be a tough time for the next couple of days.

My wife flew from St John's Newfoundland to Calgary yesterday and the plane from TO was 2 hrs and 40 minutes delayed because of the ice Ontario received. She was only four hours late but arrived without an issues thanks to those deicing guys taking get care to the ice on the aircraft ..

The main thing is your wife got home safely ice is one thing that aeroplanes do not handle well.
