I like 'em "BIG"!
So I hear (read) all you guys woes of not flying. I feel I must add to the "Misery Loves Company" group. Personally, I would fly at 30 degrees if the sun is out and the wind is not blowing. But ha! HA!!!! I say....that ain't even in the ball park for use right now. Average of 16 above during the day...30 below at night with the wind chill. And more snow...(literally) than I have seen since I was a kid growing up in the Minidoka County area 45 years ago. Seriously....20+ inches on the ground and snowed another 6 inches on Saturday with another 6-12 inches on the way. GRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!

Hence, I shall not be seeing any "air" time for quite some time. That is unless....the next four days of promised above 37 degrees holds out and actually happens. Then there is the possibility of all this white crap melting and going away. But of course if that happens, then we will be fighting some sever flooding from all the water. Damn it all....from skis to floats.....

This is what we are dealing with. About a 1/2" to 3/4" ice on everything. Knocked out power, it is going to be a day or so before we will get it back.

That looks bad ice is the worst. A number of years back we had an ice storm it knocked out half of Ontario and Quebec. I was without power for 16 days it was hell never forget that one. Hope you have generator and a lot of fuel and big lock and chain for your generator. All the best.

We were in the "Icemageddon" warning area, but we only ended up with less than a 1/4". We had a bad one a while back when my business was out of power for about 4 days. Luckily the house stayed on. We had lots of family that had to come stay with us because their power was out.
