Working on repairing what used to be a landing gear area on my Aeroworks 540 tonight. Ran out of fuel this summer and had to land when I ran out of altitude. The results weren't pretty. I'll post photos once I figure out a plan.

Quarter panel, trunk drop down panel, and tail light panel replaced. OMG enough of the body work already...

Looks great and good seeing a young kid with a welder in his hands and looking like he is enjoying working on something.

Did a little damage to one of my plastic rims. Cracked the plastic rim and a pice of the rim fell off, really like the rubber donut so I decided to try and make a set of aluminum rims for it after some work I ended up with what you see in the picture. It ended up being a three part rim two sides and a centre piece to correct for the width.

I've been waiting for some cooler weather as to not trick the garage circuit breaker from using both a covering iron and the portable AC at the same time. So back to work on the Ultimate Biplane!
